St. Mary’s CBSE School conducted a POCSO Awareness Programme to educate students on child safety and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The session was led by Mrs. Vijayalakshmi S., a dedicated Police Sub-Inspector with vast experience in State Intelligence, Traffic, and the Anti-Corruption Bureau. She sensitized students about their rights, the importance of speaking up, and how to seek help when needed.
The programme included a prayer song, lamp lighting, welcome address, guest speech, and a note of thanks. The event reinforced our commitment to creating a safe, secure, and supportive environment for every child.
